Using these values should cure the restlessness of the coins as well as their falling through the ground. You might even be able to lower these sub steps a bit.

PS
I suggest NOT using the active effectors with dynamics, they scale the piggy banks but dynamics still "sees" the old sizes and the dynamics uses these for collision detection (thus some coins virtually collide with thin air )
Or use Modynamics as the cube's dynamics shape.

Thanks!
Do you mean NOT using the shader, random and push apart on the piggies?
Then I should either make the original piggie smaller or make the whole cloner-piggies-composition 'current state to object' ???
I do indeed notice a difference with the distance from the coins from the piggies when I made the cloner 'current state to object' and let the dynamics run again.
The other settings I have to figure out what they mean and do...

Thanks for your thoughts!

I have not animated in quite a while, but I blame the shader effector with the negative scaling. Get rid of it, scale the piggy model and it should work. Without a shader assigned to, it doesn't do naything else than uniformly scale the piggys anyway.

The other settings mainly increase the accuracy of the simulation, plus adapt to the actual object sizes.

Let us know when you get the result you are after.
