Default Thr3shold Media: VFX Video Tutorials Site

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to tell about and invite you all over to take a look at my website Thr3shold Media. I am bringing together video tutorials for 3D and Motion Graphic Software into one site. I have been working on it for sometime now and there is a huge amount to see there and its growing daily.

Software covered include Blender, After Effects, C4D, 3DS Max, Realflow and Maya.

Come and take a look.

Mark

My Mini Bubble World tutorial for C4D is now online. In this tutorial I show you how to create a Mini Bubble World in C4D. While the end result is not particularly pretty the tutorial does show you how do deal with lighting the Hair Render through another layer, creating a cloud layer and the texture for a bubble. This tutorial comes complete with my project file, texture and link to the free Rockgen plugin.

Its here;

Al Heck’s latest C4D tutorial is hot off the virtual press and today he shows you how to create Oceanic Water in C4D. This two part tutorial covers displacement maps amongst other techniques.
