Default Snelmodelleren #47– Speed Modelling #47

This week something small and seemingly simple, a crumpled beer can…

Maximum modelling time is 1 hours; for the rules maybe have another peek at http://www.c4dlounge.eu/forum/showthread.php?t=6253

Post a clay render and wireframe (with eventually intermediate versions) in this thread.

Lots of fun and success.

"seemingly simple"

I guess, playing with a closed softbody, some (stiffness) maps and negative pressure will be my first research approach.

indeed, i was trying things with a plane, a "crusher" body and a can in between, and with some wel placed vertex maps, i wanted to try something with vertex maps generated by random noise (see the other thread) but painting the map on the can will be more efficient i think.
did not think of using negative pressure. could be very interesting.

is even wat verschillende "vormen maken. Eerst even een texture er op zetten.
